Subaru’s new generation All-Wheel Drive XV has been namedOzRoamer 2017 SUV under $45,000, by the specialist recreational magazine and website.
XV 2.0i-S took the honours, a year after Outback 2.0D Premium was named AWD SUV $45,000-$60,000 in OzRoamer’s annual Car of the Year (COTY) awards.
Rob Fraser, Editor of OzRoamer and www.ozroamer.com.au, said XV offers “a redesigned layout that focuses on the driver with a subtle sophistication beyond most others in the segment.
“The Subaru XV 2.0i-S is packed with features that you would normally associate with larger, more expensive vehicles.
“There are some big ticks for the new XV: plenty of room, sophisticated styling, packed with features and it’s comfortable for taller drivers.
“The new platform is a game changer for the segment. It is leaps and bounds ahead of most of the competition.
“It is a dramatic improvement on the previous generation model and is class-leading.
“The XV 2.0i S is designed for those that want an active lifestyle.”
