Subaru Australia has launched two new “do” initiatives: home delivery of new Subaru vehicles and complimentary collection and drop-off for vehicle servicing.
Home delivery is available to customers who purchased their Subaru online or instore. Subaru pioneered the buy online experience with the successful launch of BRZ in 2012, where the car initially sold-out after just three hours of going “live” on the web. In early 2017, the entire Subaru range was made available to buy online.
During the home delivery process, the transaction is completely contactless and adheres to a high level of hygiene and sanitisation standards.
For customers wishing to take delivery instore, a contactless process, in line with the same high levels of hygiene and sanitisation standards, is facilitated at the dealership.
Subaru’s service customers can arrange to have their vehicle collected from home, serviced and then returned, completely contactless and again adhering to the same high levels of hygiene and sanitisation.
Home delivery and complimentary vehicle collection and drop-off for service are available through participating Subaru retailers.
The latest Subaru ‘do’ initiatives respond to changing consumer needs and wants as a result of the current climate and COVID-19 impacts.
The health and safety of every member of the Subaru family – customers, local communities, dealership staff and employees; and their respective families – is Subaru’s number one priority and it is in this spirit that these initiatives have been developed.
Subaru Australia Managing Director, Colin Christie, said: “The Subaru ‘do’ philosophy places the customer at the heart of our business and aims to remove obstacles in the path to purchase and the ownership journey.
“While the vast majority of our dealerships remain open nationwide, continuing to serve our customers’ sales and service needs in store, we recognise some customers are seeking alternate ways to interact with our brand, given the current climate.
“For those customers that still want to transact with us and have the peace-of-mind of being able to complete the process entirely contactless, they have the option to, and that variety and availability of choice for our customers is what Subaru ‘do’ is all about.”
