Subaru King of Garmin Hill competition

Congratulations to the winners of the inaugural Subaru King of Garmin Hill climb.



The 2.8km race to the top was met with great enthusiasm and an eager sense of competition. Over 5000 athletes registered a time within the cycle leg of the Noosa triathlon in contention for the title of the 2011 'Kings'.



We hope our 7 deserved winners enjoy wearing this exclusive jersey with pride!

Professional athletes were not eligible for the spotted jersey but we strapped timing chips on several unsuspecting riders of the Tour de Noosa ride to record benchmark times for comparison:

About the Hill

Garmin Hill is located on Gyndier Drive, Tewantin situated in the first half of the cycle leg of the Noosa Triathlon. While it wasn’t Alpe d’Huez, it certainly generated a level of interest this year like never before.
